Vincent Singh

My name is Vincent and welcome to Fitness Consulting Ottawa! Engaged in sports since I was a youth, exercise is and always will be a major part of my life. I’ve played all types of sports-mostly competing in soccer and martial arts. For me, exercise in the form of resistance training began as a supplement to my competitive sports. Not long after did I develop a strong respect and passion for how the body moves and the many benefits that intentional movement can have on my life as well as others. It  provided me with an outlet that has transformed into a wonderful career. And what I like most about it is the ability to help others change their lives through physical exercise-to me, this is very rewarding. I want to see all my clients succeed. 

Outside of my conventional training, I live an active lifestyle. During the summer you can find me at the cottage running and cycling on the Trans Canada Trail, or canoeing and kayaking along its waterways.  I take this time to detach from electronics and just be in nature. During the winter I play basketball  religiously and run and cycle indoors. I have a cat named Leonard and a Fancy Leopard Gecko named Geico.

Training Philosophy

I feel extremely blessed to be able to help people improve their health through exercise. I work with clients from all walks of life, ages, and capacities. My approach to training is tailored to meet your individual needs and skills. 

My training philosophy is built upon proper form and technique, safety, steady progression, and enjoyability. These components are essential for delivering a fun and effective exercise session. The journey towards optimal health is a marathon, not a sprint. Many people want results as fast as possible, and in that rushed process they injure themselves, which sets them back even further along the timeline of their goals. My objective is to get you from goal setting to goal attainment while maintaining optimal health and longevity. Together we will achieve greatness!
